Olga Oakenfold – Yoga Teacher


I have been practising yoga and meditation since 1994 with a range of influences on my teaching style including Classical Hatha, Iyengar and Anusara Yoga. Ihave been practicing yoga with Michael Trower for a few years and he inspired me to become a yoga teacher and body massage therapist. I am qualified with The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and have been teaching yoga since 2002.

In 2005 I met John Friend in his workshop in London. Since then Anusara Yoga has opened a new passion for practice. I believe in living life to the fullest, being true to yourself and being responsible for your own health and well-being. I feel that I have been blessed with a passion for teaching and sharing my experience through the journey of yoga as an inward search of finding the very best within us – our true nature.

In my classes and workshops you will be practising postures, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation. During lessons you will learn how to use breath and mindful alignment in the way you feel safe and supported in your practice as well as support your mental and emotional health. I teach yoga inspired by Anusara yoga alignment. Also I am a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK. I do fundraising events and teach Yoga in Gildredge Park during Summer time.

  • Yoga Teacher – The British Wheel of Yoga ( BWY) Teaching Diploma with Course Tutor Janet Bond.
  • Yoga Teacher – Anusara Yoga: 100 Hours Immersion Tuition with Zenja La Rosa, 100 Hours Teacher Training Program with Claire Murphy and Bruce Bowditch.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology.
