What is Yoga?

Yoga is one of the oldest forms of exercise with origins dating back more than 5,000 years. One of the meanings of Yoga is union and it teaches us to unite the body with the mind and spirit.

At our wellbeing centre on Eastbourne Seafront, we offer Yoga classes to all. Yoga promotes physical fitness and relaxation, increases energy levels and lung capacity.

Yoga offers something for everyone at any age and fitness level, helping to counter the stresses and strains of everyday living.

Yoga can help prevent, maintain and restore bone, joint and muscle health. Take time out to slow down, manage stress and keep your body and mind young and healthy.

Our teachers bring aspects of many different styles including Hatha, Sivinanda, Kundalini, Iyengar and Dru. We keep our classes gentle and calming so that clients from all age groups can enjoy it’s wonderful benefits.

We offer separate Meditation classes as well as combining it with Yoga and Qigong.
